Satiety Study
Are you curious about the effects of fat on appetite and feelings of fullness? So are we! Help us find out by participating in our satiety study.
As global demand for food and consumer products continues to rise, it’s becoming increasingly important to find sustainable, ethical alternatives to traditional sources of fat like animal fat and palm oil. Both of these have significant environmental and ethical drawbacks. The novel fat ingredient in this study is made from a process that involves taking carbon dioxide from the air and hydrogen from water and then using heat and a process known as oxidation to create real fat molecules.
Study participation involves 3 clinic visits over approximately 2 weeks (if you are a premenopausal female, participation could last up to 2 months due to timing of the menstrual cycle). There are no blood draws for this study.
If qualified, you may be compensated up to $500 for completing all study visits and tasks.
Qualified participants must:
- Be an adult 18-50 years of age
- Have a BMI of ≥18.5 kg/m2 and <25.0 kg/m2
- Be a regular breakfast and lunch consumer
- Be willing to come to the clinic for two 6 hour visits
- Be willing to consume a smoothie breakfast and tortellini lunch in clinic
