Are you looking to lose weight and learn more about your body’s health—all at no cost to you? Biofortis Clinical Research is currently seeking motivated adults to participate in a 6-month nutritional research study testing a new, interactive online weight loss program. Our study aims to discover if setting specific daily goals can help improve weight loss, body composition, and heart health better than a standard online weight loss program.
Why Participate? There is no cost to join and we provide you with the tools you need to succeed. If you qualify, you will receive:
- Financial Compensation: Earn up to $775 for completing five clinic visits.
- Free Groceries: We provide daily study foods for you to eat at home, including entrees, soups, cereals, and snack bars.
- Free Health Gear: You will receive a scale to keep and resistance bands for home workouts.
- Premium Health Insights: Receive bloodwork and highly advanced DEXA scans, which accurately measure your body's exact breakdown of fat and muscle.
- Virtual Coaching: Gain access to weekly interactive video lessons and regular, one-on-one virtual coaching check-ins.
Who Qualifies? You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are a man or woman, 18 and 69 years of age.
- Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 27.0 and 45.0.
- Have a genuine desire to lose weight.
- Own a Bluetooth-compatible smartphone with a camera and have reliable Wi-Fi at home to use our fitness tracking app and attend virtual coaching check-ins.
What is the Commitment? Participation lasts approximately 25 to 29 weeks. You will be asked to attend 5 in-person clinic visits (requiring an overnight fast), eat the provided study foods, track your meals and exercise in a fitness app, weigh yourself weekly, and attend brief virtual coaching sessions.
