Fruit Snack Study
Want to help us unlock healthier snacking? This might be the study for you!
We are looking for participants for a new study investigating how smart ingredient swaps in dried fruit snacks can influence blood sugar response and natural appetite-regulating hormones, like GLP-1.
Traditional dried fruit snacks are often packed with concentrated sugars that lead to sharp blood sugar spikes and quick energy crashes. By redeveloping these treats with alternative sugar formulations, we are testing whether we can flatten the glycemic curve and naturally stimulate GLP-1—the hormone responsible for satiety and metabolic balance.
The total study participation includes 5 in-clinic visits over the course of approximately 5 weeks. This study requires the completion of four 6-hour test days, where you will have an IV catheter placed in your arm and have your blood drawn 10 times.
If qualified, you may be compensated up to $750 for completing all visits and study tasks.
Qualified participants must:
- Be a generally healthy adult 18-45 years of age
- Have a BMI ≥ 18.5 to < 30.0 kg/m2
- Have a fasting capillary glucose ≤ 110 mg/dL
- Be willing to attend four 6-hour visits with an IV catheter placed in the arm for blood draws
