Fiber Study on Gut Health
We have a new research study assessing the effects of 4-week consumption of a fiber supplement, NUTRIOSE®, compared to a placebo on the gut microbiome.
NUTRIOSE® is a soluble dietary fiber derived from different plants. Consumption of NUTRIOSE® has been shown to benefit various areas of health including blood glucose management, digestive health, satiety, and sustained energy release.
Previous studies demonstrated that NUTRIOSE® has a specific fermentation pattern in humans and induces growth of beneficial bacteria in the colon, which improves gut health. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of NUTRIOSE® at a smaller dose than previous studies in a population of healthy adults.
The total study participation is three visits across approximately 5 weeks.
If qualified, you may be compensated up to $750 for completing all study visits and tasks.
Qualified participants must:
- Be an adult between 18-60 years of age
- Have a BMI between 18.0-30.0 kg/m2
- Consume one serving of study product in the morning with a drink for four weeks
- Collect two stool samples at home throughout the study
